Happy 5th Birthday Bubba!!

It was exactly five years ago (and about two hours) that my luscious lipped stepson Holden was born.

I can't even begin to describe the emotions that I experienced that day.

Everything from horror to agonizing fear to crippling anxiety to indescribable heartbreak to incredible love and adoration.

In the end, all that mattered was that we had another beautiful baby to love.

I have loved him like a mama since before he was born.
